Automatic Pressurised Filling

A pressurised tank is equipped with a liquid nitrogen level sensor via capacitive probe or scale with 4/20 mA output. When the level falls below 20% (programmable threshold), filling begins. The S330.smartFill V04 opens the inlet and venting solenoid valve until the temperature on the circuit drops below -190° (programmable threshold). The filling cycle can also take place by pressing a special button on the LCD display or via a special digital input. During the filling cycle, an internal relay provides the automation system with the information to open the main solenoid valve of the liquid nitrogen tank. As an option, the internal pressure of the pressurised tank can be controlled by reading a 4/20 mA pressure transducer acting on the venting solenoid valve. In the event of a low level alarm, the S330 system provides an alarm signal.
