Cryobanks

S300.smartPLC

A medical device capable of fully controlling different makes and models of cryogenic freezers, without the need for any electrical or mechanical modifications to the equipment, but using only the serial communication protocol. The S300.smartPLC device enables the automation of cryogenic freezer filling by managing the activation of the cryogenic line's solenoid valves, oxygen sensors, ventilation system, access control, alarm sending, video recording system, and the reading of external liquid nitrogen tank parameters. All functions of the cryobank are therefore managed with a single device.

S310.cryoLink

Universal and versatile interface capable of converting the communication protocols of different makes and models of cryogenic freezers into a single protocol (eagleNet) compatible with the SINTESY system. The S310.cryoLink device is the only one on the market that allows you to change cryogenic freezers without changing the configurations of the cryobank's software and control panel.

S330.smartFill

Device used in cryobanks for four different functions: switchover, for the automatic exchange of two pressurised tanks; controller for phase separator; LN2 cryogenic line automation; and finally for the automatic filling of pressurised tanks. While retaining the same hardware, the device can have four different configurations that can be activated via software.

SINTESY.eagle.cryo

Software installed on an industrial computer or Server connected to the S300.smartPLC on one side, and to the intranet/internet network on the other. The software manages a database (DBMS), acts as a server to allow operators to remotely access the cryobank supervision system via password. Thanks to its simple and intuitive graphical interface, it allows data, alarms, events to be analysed using tables and graphs, with the possibility of exporting this information in standard formats such as XLS or CSV files.

S140-LTE

A telephone dialer that uses the GSM network to notify alarm conditions via voice calls, SMS and email. In the event of alarms of high temperature on cryogenic freezers, low liquid nitrogen level or decrease in the percentage of oxygen in the cryogenic room, users will be promptly notified of the anomaly.

S210.smartSensor

An environmental sensor that measures the level of oxygen present in the cryobiology room, alerting operators to a possible dangerous condition by means of an acoustic and visual signal integrated in the sensor itself. The sensor is normally installed at several points within the room.

S200.smartOxygen

Display panel that collects the oxygen values measured by the various S210.smartSensors in the cryobiology room. The device is installed inside or outside the room so that operators can have immediate feedback on the oxygen value and be alerted in the event of anomalies by an integrated acoustic and visual indicator.

S180

Device that allows controlled access and registration of access to the cryobiology room through RFID badge readers (S182). Thanks to this device, it is possible to activate the ventilation of the cryobiology room and the operator 'watchdog' system when the presence of a user is registered.

S185

Acoustic and visual warning device installed at various points in the cryobiology room to warn operators in advance of a dangerous situation, so as to allow immediate evacuation of the premises. The device has three visual indicators in red, yellow and green for immediate understanding of the room's safety conditions.

S186

A 'watchdog' button to supervise the presence of the operator inside the cryobiology room. Staff must confirm their presence in the room by pressing the button within 5 minutes, after which a one-minute pre-alarm is triggered, signalled by a buzzer and an indicator light. Failure to press the button will generate an alarm condition.

S187

Button to manually start the cooling cycle of the cryogenic line and the subsequent filling of the cryogenic freezers with liquid nitrogen. The same button can also be used to stop this cycle.

S187-1

Used by the operators following the cold start of the cryogenic line: pressing and holding the button opens the solenoid valve of the tapping system, allowing liquid nitrogen to be supplied to the transport dewars. The S187-1 module implements the 'dead man' function, i.e. when the button is released in the event of danger or operator illness, the cycle is immediately interrupted.

S188

Emergency button used by operators in cryobanks in the event of a dangerous condition: its pressure immediately blocks the solenoid valves of the cryogenic line, stopping the supply of liquid nitrogen, activates the forced ventilation system and sends an emergency call.

S189

Button for activating the forced ventilation system normally installed inside or outside the premises and used by operators to safeguard their own safety inside the cryobiology room.

S140-1

Device that acquires 4/20 mA analogue and digital signals from various transducers in the field, such as the level and pressure of the external liquid nitrogen tank, temperatures and pressure on the cryogenic line.

S100

Device for reading digital signals inside the cryobank, such as mains power failure, solenoid valve limit switches and for activating digital outputs, such as solenoid valves, forced ventilation and signallers.
