LN2 cryogenic line automation

S330.smartFill V03

A super-insulated vacuum cryogenic line (SIVL) used for filling cryogenic freezers consists of a solenoid valve near the liquid nitrogen tank and a solenoid valve at the end of the line. Before filling cryogenic freezers, the line must be cooled by opening both solenoid valves. When the temperature read at the end of the line falls below -180° (programmable threshold), this means that the line contains mainly nitrogen in a liquid state and no longer gas. At this temperature, the solenoid valve at the end of the line can be closed and the filling of the cryogenic freezers can begin. The cooling cycle can be started automatically by activating a signal from the S330.smartFill V03 device or by pressing a special button on the LCD display. Likewise, the filling cycle can be stopped at any time. As an option, it is possible to use two temperature probes at the end of the line. If the two temperatures are misaligned, the system generates an alarm indicating that one of the two probes is faulty. In dangerous conditions it is also possible to stop the filling cycle via an emergency button.

S140-LTE

In combination with the S330.smartFill V03 device, the S140-LTE telephone dialer, using the GSM network, allows alarm conditions to be notified via voice calls, SMS and email. In the event of "cooling time out", "filling time out", emergency shutdown and probe failure, system managers will be promptly notified of the anomaly.
