The S100 module is a medical device used for alarm control in medical gas distribution systems. The control unit complies with the EN7396-1 standard.
It has 16 opto-isolated inputs and 16 opto-isolated outputs that can be programmed by the system installer via a convenient and intuitive front keyboard. For each of the inputs it is possible to associate an alarm condition lettering that will be displayed when required.
The S100-1 model accepts NAMUR-type inductive sensors used to control the status of system valves (open/closed).
The front panel has acoustic and visual signals in accordance with EN60601-1-8: a yellow annunciator which indicates a medium priority alarm, a red annunciator which indicates a high priority alarm and an audible annunciator. The latter can be silenced by the operator for a programmable time (max. 15 minutes) or permanently.
