The S130 module is a device used for the conversion of data transmission protocols in medical gas distribution systems.
It is used as a device for the conversion of physical layer protocols and for the amplification/reconstruction of RS422/RS485 electrical signals on long cable runs where attenuation of the signal level may compromise the integrity of transmitted alarm signals.
The S130 module is a device capable of processing and converting different types of protocols: RS232, RS485 and RS422.
The possible modes of use are:
- RS485 repeater (dual channel)
- RS485 line duplicator
- RS422 repeater (single channel)
- RS232 / RS485 converter (dual channel)
