The S180 module is an access control system that can operate stand-alone or as a device that is part of a network of other RTU modules produced by SINTESY. The S180 module manages up to 4 S182 readers. In this way, 4 different gates, or two gates with entry and exit control can be controlled. The S182 readers can be installed several metres away from the S180 control unit. The S180 has 4 programmable relay outputs (with N.C. and N.O. contacts) and 4 programmable digital inputs. It has an RS485 communication port so that it can be integrated into the SINTESY.eagle system. It also has a USB port for PC programming.
The SINTESY S182 reader module uses RFID technology with a 125kHz carrier. The proximity cards (badges) are equipped with a read-only transponder with a unique code and are supplied by SINTESY.
