Monitoring Parameters

The monitoring of parameters in laboratories is of paramount importance to ensure the quality and reliability of the scientific data produced, as well as the safety of operators and compliance with regulatory standards.

Environment

The monitoring of parameters in the environment is of crucial importance to ensure the safety, health and well-being of people. The parameters typically monitored are gases such as O2, CO2, CH4, C3H8, temperature and relative humidity (TRH), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and the differential pressure between laboratories (Delta P)

Equipment

Several pieces of equipment are installed within the laboratories that require continuous monitoring of the measured parameters. Such equipment is, for example, cryo-containers, mechanical refrigerators (-80°C, - 20°C and + 4°C), CO2 incubators, dewars, programmable drop-down freezers and laminar flow hoods.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

The detection of parameters and their monitoring is essential for the following areas of application:

  • cryopreservation, for temperature measurement
  • research and biotechnology
  • occupational safety, to ensure constant monitoring of environments where gases are used
  • the pharmaceutical chemical sector, to monitor the production of drugs for the chemical sector and the production of food for the food & beverage sector
